What are my options for lenses?

There are many eyeglass lens options available. Your eye care provider will take your lifestyle and vision correction needs into consideration when helping you select the right lenses for your eyes.

Here are some of the most common eyeglass lens types:

• Transition lenses – These lenses automatically adjust to the level of surrounding light and UV rays to better protect your eyes from the harsh sun.
• Polarized Lenses – Provide the sharpest vision and highest level of protection from the sun by blocking light rays reflecting off surfaces such as the road or water.
• Polycarbonate material – Polycarbonate lenses make the glasses thinner and lighter than standard plastic, as well as being shatter and scratch resistant.
